Modern climate models suffer from cognitive detachment: numerical tables conceal the terrifying physical turbulence of atmospheric collapse. With Aether-09, FIELDWORK engineered an ambient spatial instrument that renders alpine wind velocities not as static contours, but as an elastic, undulating cloth suspended in digital physical space.

Lidar Topology & Micro-Oscillation Harmonics
We deployed 64 battery-less solar nodes across the Engadin valley, streaming wind azimuth and barometric gradient data over a low-frequency mesh network. The spatial engine converts this raw stream into Navier-Stokes grid approximations operating at 60 frames per second.
